I can't even begin to explain how nostalgic Christmas time is for me. I love snow, I love the cozy feelings..throw in some homemade Christmas cookies and tea..and I will watch Christmas lights all day long.
I am aware that it hasn't hit turkey day yet, but I am European and I did not grow up with that tradition until I got to the United States so it just has very little meaning to me personally.
--------------My Favorite Things --------------
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens Brown paper packages tied up with strings These are a few of my favorite things
Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings These are a few of my favorite things
Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes Silver white winters that melt into springs These are a few of my favorite things
When the dog bites When the bee stings When I'm feeling sad I simply remember my favorite things And then I don't feel so bad
Here is the song: [link] (don't ask my why Barbra Streisand sings the best slow version)
Of course I had to feature Minnie, I feel as though she'd enjoy this as much as I. Minnie created by Art and concept by
I don't usually do this type of things but your drawing is really good, so here it goes. I give your vision a 4 because it really good but I don't know if I should give it a 5. The originality would get a 1 because a girl looking out of the window on a winter day is overdone but your use of minimandy and your use of that song below the picture makes me give it a good solid 3. Your technique is just awesome, it deserves a 7 but the highest I can give you is 5. Finally, your picture gives me so much nostalgia, I wish I was in Connecticut again instead of hot Texas. Your picture really made my day, thank you
this is why i bother joining groups. because once in a while somthing genuinely brilliant pops up in my inbox and makes my day. looking forward to what you come up with next
